Beauty Favourites - Late Summer 2016

Hello! I come to you with a new video about my beauty favourites from recent times i.e. late summer 2016. With hot weather going up to 40 degrees Celsius in sunny Australia, I have favoured a light and easy approach to makeup and perfume - especially to avoid melting everywhere. Video: Collective Thrift Haul

I just love a good trip to the thrift store! With a bit of patience and optimism, you can hit upon a trove of treasures, usually consisting of clothing and accessories, in my case. It was definitely encouraging to see Steph and Melissa from the Fashion Citizen on YouTube (@fashion_citizen) make thrifting look like an art. I like to try my hand at it from time to time and was very lucky to find some nice things. I recommend checking out your local thrift store or op shop next time you're on the look-out for something specific or just fun. Buying preloved items is better for the environment than new clothes and it's cheaper, too. Just bring a discerning eye - or friend.

When I go out and about in my free time, I like to take a bag that makes my heart sing. This sequin bag from Topshop does just that. This suits for a night out, a visit to a gallery or a wander through the park. Click below to watch my video about what I can fit inside it!
